THE NEXT STEP follows the lives of a group of dancers at THE NEXT STEP Dance Studio as they attempt to win regional, national and international dance championships.

It’s not just about winning, though. It’s about working together, accepting everyone for who they are, and finding your footing as these young dancers become young adults. THE NEXT STEP is a half-hour, single-camera ‘Tween drama featuring an elite group of dancers whose personal lives, competitive natures, and huge passions keep getting in the way of them becoming the great dance squad they could be. During the course of the series, each of our characters will learn the only way they’re going to make it, is to put their various differences aside and find a way to work together.
